In this module, The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG; the Vienna Convention) will be examined. The convention, which applies to international sales of goods, was signed by Turkey and entered into force by the Turkish Parliament approval. Hence it has become a part of Turkish law. The convention, highly used worldwide, is envisaged to increase its application in Turkey soon. This requires lawyers in Turkey are familiarized with this convention and its application. The aim of this module is to provide lawyers pursuing post graduate education with proficiency on the basic principles of this convention.
