Course Contents

The main aim of this course is to examine comparative rights of shareholders in joint stock companies. What are the rights of shareholders, the classification of these rights, the scope of the rights, the distinction between financial and personal rights will be examined comparatively within the scope of this course. Shareholder's dividend right, pre-emption right, preparation period interest, right of liquidation share, right to attend the general meeting, voting right, right to information and review, right to request special audit will be handled comparatively. In addition, majority rights, minority rights, individual, vested and indispensable rights will be examined in terms of use of rights.
