Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Explaining the basic concepts of science and scientific research and converting the basic concept of the research questions and hypotheses into numeric variables.
2) Using the techniques of scientific research methods.
3) Collecting, processing and analyzing scientific data.
4) Explaining a basic knowledge of science and research ethics.
5) Informing relevant persons and institutions in field related issues and suggest solutions to problems in written or verbal ways.

This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on science and scientific methods, concepts regarding science, scientific research process, determination of research subject, purpose, data collection methods, sampling process, analysis and implementation of data, form and content of research paper.
