This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on management and production management, production economics, system approach of production, factors of production systems, production types, production strategies, production technologies, new concepts of production: just-in-time production, flexible manufacturing systems, group technology, lean production, design of product, capacity planning, location methods, layout strategy.
