Course Contents

Critical and conservative cultural theories are analyzed. The figure of foreigner / other in international immigration process is studied, intercultural communication models are identified. The influences of cultural differences in intercultural encounters are demonstrated, the role of the media in encounters with the foreigner / other is studied and the representation of the other in the media is analyzed.
