Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Analyze Greek history and Turkish-Greece relations.
2) Evaluate issues affecting the relations of the two countries such as Cypriot, minorities and Aegean dispute.
3) Prepare reports on Greece's bilateral and multilateral external relations and Cypriot conflict.
4) Comment on Greek society and ideologies of the political Parties in Greece.
5) Prepare reports on EU-Greece relations.

Course Contents
This course covers Greek-Turkish relations from Greek independence to present time, the Cypriot conflict, Aegean dispute, NATO accession of Turkey and Greece, territorial waters, continental shelf, Flight Information Region and minorities dispute.
