Course Contents

Functioning of political communication process, role and repercussions of media in political communication process.

Weekly Schedule

1) Information will be given about the content of the course.
2) Political communication and political agents will be described.
3) The development of political communication within the academic organization and the understanding of differentiating political communication will be described.
4) The connections between the concepts of politics and communication will be explained (Part I)
5) The connections between the concepts of politics and communication will be explained (Part II)
6) Communication in the modern political atmosphere will be reviewed.
7) Social functioning form of communication addressed to the political opposition movement that criticism will be explored.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) The concept of public opinion as a political concept will be discussed.
10) The process and functioning of political communication will be examined (Part I)
11) The process and functioning of political communication will be examined (Part II)
12) The role and reflections of the media in the process of political communication will be explicated (Continuation of the previous lecture).
