1) Explain the administrative structure of the Turkish public administration.
2) Recognize the Central Organization of General Government.
3) Recognize the organization and activities of The Presidency, the Ministry.
4) Recognize local government agencies.
5) Recognize local government agencies, special provincial administrations, municipalities and villages.
6) List the tasks and the functioning of state institutions such as the Court of Cassation, TRT, the Higher Education Council, SSPC, TOB, universities, MIT, RTUK, the Competition Board, BRSA, SDIF, the Supreme Election Board, the Supreme Court, Court of Auditors, the Council of State.

Course Contents

Historical foundations of the tradition of the Turkish government and Turkish constitutions according to the evolution of administrative and political structure, administrative and political structure of modern Turkey, the legislative, executive and judicial institutions and legal arrangements and the problems of management of metropolitan cities, local governments will be examined.
