1) Explains, identifies, evaluates the basic concepts of communication.

3) Learns how to determine cultural, sociological and economic changes and their relations.
4) Evaluates culture, sociology, media, social change, etc in the context of social structures and sociology of communication
5) Evaluates and compares the elements of social change in media.

Course Contents

The primarily scope of the course, social and cultural changes will be discussed in the sociological dimension. Secondly, how the media and mass media shaped these changes, their effects and their reflections will be examined and identified through examples.
