Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Learning the basic principles of design and the principles, techniques, tools, material recognition, editing, design, mental processes other words, days of creation, the design brings the objective. Combining the power of individual creativity and the intuitive and creative designs to the consumer reaches the viewer.

Course Contents

Design and establishment of the relationship between narrative, symbols and concepts into the mental process of comprehension, creativity, design, logo, logotype, poster design, corporate identity and relationship, the original identity of the institution, such as weathering and the retention of basic concepts in mind in the evaluation and implementation. Point, line, shape, form, color, texture, light (light-medium-dark, volume-mass-space, the rate-ratio), such as practical investigation of cases. Interdisciplinary projects, working, designing and managing.

1) Basic art concepts and principles of visual design.
2) Principles of composition, shape, style and form.
3) Shape and surface expressions, rhythm, balance, movement.
4) Sovereignty and the focal point of the composition.
5) Color and contrast-compliance of composition.
6) Colors and effects of perceived colors.
7) The effects of colors on the human psychology. Language of colors.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Light - shade in design.
10) An overview to lithography techniques.
11) An overview to painting picture techniques.
12) Creativity in design.
13) Analysis and criticism of a work of art.
14) Analysis and criticism of a work of art. (Sequal)
