1) Understanding the differences between the scientific methodology and other research methods
2) Understanding the basic principles of the scientific methodology
3) Ability to effectively gathering the necessary data from the appropriate resources to resolve a scientific problem
4) Ability to prepare a research report by using the results opf data analyses.

Course Contents
This course covers the topics of definition, aims, and properties of science and scientific methodology, historical development and phases of the scientific methodology, principles of the scientific methodology, steps of the scientific methodology, sampling, data collection tools and methods, data processing, data analysis, writing a research report, citation and bibliography.
