This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on the research and analysis of hisatorical background of Eastern European countries, transformation from socialism to capitalism, integration in the European Union and NATO, political and social democratization process, religion, ethnicity, minorities, nationalism, gender politics and culture in Eastern European countries.
