Course Contents

The funerary traditions of the Near Eastern cultures from the Neolithic Period until the Hellenistic period will be discussed. Burial methods, grave types, location of graves/grave yards, and grave goods, the chronological development and geographical expansion of these practices will be studied and interpreted
