Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Students will have knowledge about digital media.
2) Digital media provides specialization in subjects such as basic principles of publishing and publication design process.
3) It helps students to gain theoretical knowledge about e-publishing and its types and gain experience in practical field.
4) Use of multimedia materials, input, reading and interpretation of numerical data gives them the ability to interpret.
5) Analyzes the effects of new media both on the individuals and the society with in social, political, economical and cultural context.

In this course, it is determined how the media is transformed together with the developing communication technologies, what is the digital media, e-publishing, its types, the use of multimedia materials, standards, legal issues, numerical data.
