Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Recognizes ijtihad and related concepts.
2) Ables to give examples about the necessity of ijtihad.
3) Knows about stages ijtihad had passed on and its progress throughout fiqh history.
4) Brings examples from the ijtihads of Prophet, his companions, successors and mujtahid imams.
5) Knows the opinions of mujtahid imams regarding to ijtihad
6) Explains the relationship between ijtihad and taqlid (imitation) with examples.
