1) Know the basic sources of philosophy.
2) Recognizes the linguistic, historical and problematic methods to be used in the process of reading and evaluating philosophical sources.

4) Interprets the process of intellectual development of mankind and different periods of philosophical thought.
5) Uses information and communication technologies effectively in scientific studies in the field.

Course Contents
The defining philosophers and trends of the history of philosophy will be introduced. The passages of highly representative philosophical texts from Ancient philosophy to Contemporary philosophy will be read.
