Course Contents
In this lecture, candidates are provided with profound knowledge on mechanisms of action of antimicrobial drugs, standardization, selection, performing, interpretation and quality control of antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
Weekly Schedule
1) Mechanisms of action of antimicrobial drugs2) Important considerations in antimicrobial susceptibility testings (method, media and selection of drugs) and standardization of antimicrobial susceptibility tests (temperature, pH, inoculum, cation addition etc.)
