Course Contents

This course aims to provide candidates with profound knowledge on the historical perspective of genome analysis genetic mapping (mapping populations, molecular markers etc,) physical mapping (genomic libraries, BAC libraries, CDNA libraries, BAC end-sequencing, fingerprinting) comparative genome mapping quantitative trait analysis polyploidy SNPs and comparative genomics genome sequencing methodologies genome assembly and characterization.
