The digestive system is an system that performs the digestion, absorption and excretion of nutrients, as well as immune and endocrine functions. Within the scope of this course, the physical and chemical processes that support the basic functions of the components of the digestive system and their physiological mechanisms will be discussed at the level of cell, tissue and organ.
