In this lecture, candidates are provided with profounfd knowledge on Stoichiometry of biochemical processes, kinetics of biochemical processes, microbial growth and decay,fractions of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), multi-componential active sludge models, determination of stoichiometric and kinetic constants,heterotrophic transformation ratio,maximum growth rate and methods for determination of partial saturation constants.
