Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Define the fundamental theory of seismometers
2) Explain how to calculate transfer functions of the system and how they can record waves and what is the conditions of transmission and wave equations
3) Tell what kind of telecommunication systems can be used and how to create a sysytem by using equipment and system
4) Discuss how to establish a seismic network in local, regional scale and what kind of software and hardware needed
5) Discuss different seismic netwroks and component for using local networks and earthquake monitorng
6) Tell malfunctions and fixing these malfunctions in seismometers, analog-digital cnevrtors, communication devcies, batteries, UPSs and modems
