Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Learn about erosion, transport and deposition
2) Learn about the formation of landscape, understanding of geomorphological processes, and the significance of climate on the development of landscapes.
3) Learn about the relationships between tectonics of basin formation
4) Learn the basic understanding of sedimentary processes and the resulting facies and geometries.
5) Learn the basic understanding of major environments of deposition and stratigraphical principles (mainly litho- and sequence stratigraphy)
