Course Contents

Candidates are provided with profound knowledge on electronic structure of diatomic molecules and vector model, separate atom approximation, united atom approximation, molecular orbital theory, hydrogen molecule and hydrogen molecule ion, Hartree-Fock self-consistent field for molecular methods, Ligand field theory, and electronic band spectra of molecules.
