Course Contents

The concept of renewable energy and its role in energy applications, solar power generation (photovoltaic and solar thermal), photovoltaic system analysis, photovoltaic applications, wind power and electricity, turbine types, basic performance analysis and characteristics, water power (hydro electricity, tides, river currents) , wave powers), associated energy storage methods, hybrid systems.
