Course Contents

This course focuses on the basic topics related to body-centered wireless communication, from antennas and radio propogation perspective including measurement techniques, analytical and numerical studies, and system-related aspects. Accordingly, the course content; Antennas and radio propagation for body-centric wireless communication. The electromagnetic properties, modeling and measurements of the human body and practical considerations. Mm-wave antennas and radios for body centeric networks. Physical and digital phantom methods and techniques. Numerical models and problems. Body implant / Body-Worn RF Flexible Devices / Electronics / Antennas for Medical Sensing and Communication. Industrial standards and real applications for healthcare, security and sports.
