Course Contents

This course will look generally at major problematic areas in international politics. Likely topics will include: The new world order; the European Union- Turkey Relations; the global, continental and regional actors; the Eurasia and its importance for Turkey, Turkey’s nearest neighbors and the Islamic world, the Quest for stability in the Middle East; the Arab-Israeli conflict, developments in the Caucasus and Central Asia.
