Course Contents

Human rights conventions of the United Nations (International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, Convention on the Rights of the Child, etc.), regional systems on human rights protection (European, inter-American, and African regional protection mechanisms), the role of non-governmental organisations in the field of human rights.
