Course Contents

The main purpose of this course is to develop a new approach for the role of the interpretation in legal reasoning. The course addresses a great deal of subjects, including theory of legal argumentation, linguistic and philosophical dimensions of legal language and logical fallacies. From different legal texts to the judicial contexts, the course provides a wide range of understanding of the relation between legal texts and legal interpretation. Combining the legal texts with the method of legal interpretation and argumentation, the course enables law students to think and argue coherently about the judicial application of law.
