Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) To exprss the structure of the Programmable Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Controllers importance in the industry
2) Programing PLC's using the LADDER diagram and the command list (STL)
3) With PLC counting, timing, use of sub-programs, mathematical operations, using the data block, makes the cutting process
4) Makes analog control with PLC
5) To determine the troubles in the systems and to shoot the by the help of the packege program

Introduction to programmable controllers. Functions. Comparison of programmable systems with classical systems. Central processing unit (CPU). I / Q input-output modules. Programming programmable controllers using ladder diagrams. Normally open and normally closed contacts. Internal relays. Latch. Start / stop button. Timers. Counters. Using comparative commands .Editing on monitors. Building ladder diagrams for different circuit applications. Analyzing the programming logic of the programmable controllers by using command list (STL). Troubleshooting programmable controller failures.
