Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Use the words related with time, day, week, month, year and the date.
2) Form all types of the sentences in simple present, present continuous, past tense and future tense.
3) Enrich their vocabulary level when they read or listen to short and simple stories.
4) Join two or more seperate sentences using conjunctions to make a compound sentence.
5) Use different reading, writing, listening and speaking strategies and skills.
6) Give information about physical, emotional and intellectual subjects about themselves and others.
7) Pronunce the words correctly using correct intonation, and stress.
8) Talk about the people, objects and the events nearby.

Weekly Schedule

1) Meeting.
2) Meeting, self-introduction, numbers between 0-10. Proficiency Test.
3) Using nouns with indefinite identifiers, asking the equivalent of an English word, forming several sentences with different structures to use in classroom environment.
4) English alphabet. Spelling the names.Talking about family members and personal possessions, possesive adjectives, introducing people and the family.
5) Describing family members. Saying hello and goodbye (greetings), naming a few countries.
6) Using the verb 'to be'. Introducing yourself and using conjunctions for saying sorry
7) Counting the numbers 0-100, using the question form of the verb "to be",saying sorry for the mistakes.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
