Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Apply heat treatment of various metal alloys.
2) Heat treatment makes the process of grinding the samples.
3) Heat treatment makes the process of polishing the samples.
4) Heat treatment and etching process, the sample can prepare suitable etching reagent.
Appropriate to the sample heat treatment makes the process of etching and etching reagent prepared.
5) Examine the sample under a microscope.
6) Comment on something the sample examined under the microscope.

This course provides students with the knowledge of heat treatment applied to steel, aluminum alloys and copper alloys, metallographic examination.
