2) Explain the weaving preparatory operations, the basic and auxiliary operations, the working principles of the machines.

The structure of weawing technique. The basic weawing patterns. The machines of weawing and their general features. The weawing fabric analysis.
Weekly Schedule
1) The past and present of weaving, the situation of weaving sector in Turkey.2) General information about preparation for weaving operations.
3) Obtaining fabric with woven technique . Introduction of mechanisms to make up the fabric on the loom. Basic and auxiliary operations.
4) The basic weaves of weaving.
5) The weaving plans.
6) The effects of colored yarns in the main pattern.
7) Classification of weaving machines.
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) General information about the weaving machines.
10) The basic parameters and auxiliary parameters to define the weaving fabric.
11) Calculation of crimp of warp and woof.
12) Calculation of fabric bulk.
13) Woven fabric defects.
14) The analysis of woven fabric.
