Course Contents

This course covers; Transportation, Traffic and Capacity, Path Selection of Geometric Standards, Overage, exploratory, Study and Application, Road projects.

3) Highways in the country - the relationship with the environment and The classification of roads
4) Determine the input parameters of the geometric characteristics of highways and road projects
5) The volume of traffic and traffic forecas To determine the character and composition of traffic
6) Capacity and level of service to be determined.Determination of the rate of the project
7) Road cross-section elements to be determined ve intersections
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) To form horizontal route and superelevation
10) Determination the safe sensing and stopping distance on the horizontal curves
