Course Contents

This course covers; introduction To AUTOCAD Drawing Program,File Menu,Open,Save,Exit. Drawing Screen,Command Prompt,Text and Drawing Windows Properties. Dialog Boxes and Usage Of Screen Menu. Data Entry, Usage Of Function Buttons. Undo, Redo, Oops. Screen Viewing, Standard Zoom, Real Time Zoom, Pan.Object Snap Usage and Adjustment(Endpoint, Midpoint, Intersection, Center, Quadrant, Tangent, Perpendicular ) Grid Adjustment, Object Selection, Refreshing The Screen. Line Command, Absolute, Incrimental and Polar Cartesian Coordinates.Circle , Polygon ,Arc Commands Array Command( Rectangular, Polar ) Offset, Fillet, Trim ,Copy, Move, Mirror.

Weekly Schedule

1) Introduction of the program, the display and menus, opening an existing file,multiple files open, saving a file while working, doing different save changes, close AutoCAD
2) Command line, make a drawing based on the absolute coordinates, according to the coordinates to draw Imputed
3) Drawing entering the distance , using the angle to draw
4) Drawing area, the delineation, determination of unit systems
5) Customization of toolbars, status buttons, command-line
6) Erase, Copy, Move commands
7) Multiline, Polyline, Rectangle commands
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Mirror, offset commands , Polygon, Arc, Circle, Spline, Ellipse commands
10) Array, Rotate, Scale, Strech, Scetch, Break, Break at point commands
11) Fillet , Chamfer, Explode, Hatch commands
12) Isometric drawings, isometric circle, cross-sectional isometric
13) Writing with AutoCAD, text style (font style settings and creating new styles), organization of papers written
