1) Define the principles of project management
2) Have knowledge about the life-cycle theoretical approches of civil engineering projects
3) Define in detail the phases of project planning of a civil engineering project
4) Define the project management tools and solve the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Gantt Diagrams
5) Apply the Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) in a real-life civil engineering project by having knowledge about them
6) Describe the cost management and cost planning in a civil engineering project
7) Have knowledge about the fundamental issues in risk management in a civil engineering project
