Course Contents

This course covers; the definition of hydrology, the importance and methods. Hydrological cycle. The formation of precipitation, measurement and analysis of measurements. Evaporation and evapotranspiration losses. Infiltration. Groundwater flow. Measurement and analysis of current records. Runoff. Hydrographs. Unit hydrograph theory and precipitation to flow through. Hydrograph routing. Applications of statistics in hydrology.
