The main topics of the course are Ottomanism, İslamism, Turkism as political issues of the Ottoman period, Professional representation, solidarism, peasantism, conservatism, liberalism as economic and social issues of national foundation of the Early Republican Era, and socialism, radical rightism, islamic revivalism as the issues of the post-second-world-war, the era of popular movements corresponding to the development of industrialisation and urbanisation.
