Course Contents

This course contains contemporary approaches and debates on construction of identity, links between identity and politics, and identity politics. Definitions and development of the concept of identity in different disciplines, how the relationship between identity and politics is established in the context of ethnic, national and religious identities, and criticism of identity politics are the main themes of the course.
