Course Contents

According to Ministry of Finance monoregularity chart of accounts current asset, noncurrent asset; current liability, long term liability, stockholders’ equity accounts and their journalizing and posting process as detailed. Introduction to generally accepted accounting principles, the accounting equation, the balance sheet, the account, the double entry system, journal entry, posting to the ledger accounts, the trial balance and basic asset, source, income statement and cost accounts.

Weekly Schedule

1) Accounting in general and fundamental principles of accounting.
2) Introducing accounting and balance sheet equation and cash, merchandise, buyers, sellers, capital and profit accounts.
3) With the movement of business cases, mechanism of cash, merchandise, buyers, sellers, capital and profit accounts in the accounting boks and trial balance – balance sheet relation.
4) Introducing banks, bank loans, value added tax deductible and value added tax calculated accounts and sample solutions.
5) Introducing note and check accounts and sample solutions.
6) Transition to uniform chart of accounts, introducing revenue and expense accounts and sample solutions.
7) Introducing deposit, guarantee and advance accounts and sample solutions.
8) Calculating merchandise selling profit or loss in periodic inventory method, introducing cost of merchandise sold account and sample solutions.
9) Midterm exam.
10) Introducing return and discount accounts and applying periodic and perpetual inventory methods in inventory accounts.
11) Introducing tangible asset accounts, depreciation calculating methods and accumulated depreciation account and sample solutions.
12) Introducing sales in tangible assets and sample solutions.
13) Introducing goods and service buyings which are subject to tax cut and sample solutions.
14) Introducing doubtful trade receivables and allowances for doubtful trade receivables and sample solutions.
15) With the movement of a business case indicating account, trial balance, balance sheet and income statement relationship.
16) Final exam.
