Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Evaluate the influence of religion on international politics in the today's world.
2) Evaluate the basic concepts and key words about religion, society and politics such as belief, holy war, fundamentalism, Islamophobia and political aspect of religions both monolitic and others.
3) Comment on religion and religion based political organizations in Western societies, the Islamic countries and the Far East.
4) Analyze the Organization of Islamic Conference and the Fener Greek Patriarchate and prepare a report.
5) Discuss basic problems of the Islamic world and causes of islamophobia in the West.
