1) Identfying scientific research purpose, types of research, research subject selection and does limitation.
2) Developing critical thinking skills in literature revision, suggesting hypothesis and strategy development.
3) Commenting on the issues such as; calculation of national income, inflation and price indices, monetary statistics - development statistics
4) Developing skills required to conduct a research report properly along with writing postscripts and bibliography.

This course covers research methods, science and scientific approach, main concepts and methodological problems in social sciences, scientific research process, determining subject, literature survey, forming hypothesis, research types and strategies, data, population and sample, data analysis, form and content of research report, footnotes and references, use of internet.
