Course Contents

This course includes definition of biotechnology and its multi-disciplinary nature, microorganisms and the products of microbial metabolism, microbial fermentations, bioreactors, development of microorganisms for biotechnological processes, principles of genetic engineering, substrates used in biotechnological processes, application areas of biotechnology, biotechnology industry in Turkey.
