The course aims at examinig the critical essays of literary critics like Plato, Aristotle, Horace, Sir Philip Sidney, John Dryden, Alexander Pope, Samuel Johnson, William Wordsworth, S.T. Coleridge, Shelly, Mathew Arnold, and T. S. Elliot
