1) Analyze the English poetic traditions and genres in the Romantic, Victorian and the Modern periods.
2) Gain the ability to analyse works of poetry by identifying the figures of speech and discovering the figurative levels of meanings in the poems
3) Differentiate between the poems written and the poetic conventions emerged in different periods.
4) Recognize about rhythm and sound in poetry.
5) Develop his vocabulary skills and capacity in english
6) Have an aesthetic outlook towards life, developing a philosophical and ideological view through literary texts.
