Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Analyze novels by Victorian woman writers.
2) Evaluate the contribution of Victorian woman wtriters to the progress of novel in Victorian Age.
3) Acquire an insight into the poetry written by Victorian woman poets.
4) Analyze how Victorian society deployed and gendered women.
5) Examine the works of canonical writers, like Emily Brontë, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, George Eliot, and Christina Rossetti, as well as less-popular and/or recently rediscovered talents, such as Anne Brontë, Augusta Webster, Olive Schreiner, and Mary Kingsley.
