1) Discuss issues related to conceptualizations, perceptions, and representations of femininity and masculinity as well as homosexuality and transgender/transsexuality.
2) analyze writings on gender roles of important thinkers from Aristotle to Biblical scholars to Sigmund Freud to Michel Foucault.
3) Focus on the feminist movement and the feminist authors.
4) Study the relationship between woman and man, sexuality and sexual identity in the realist period.
5) Acquire the ability to examine the relationship between woman and man, sexuality and sexual identity in the postmodernist period.
