Course Contents

The PPN- Pottery Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods, settlements, The developpement of Neolithic Culture, First Farmers Comminities, first domestication of animals, first agriculture essays, ture, settlement system, pottery, metallurgy, economy, religion, graves and social structure will be covered during this course.

2) Between Neolithic and Early Bronze Age's Settlements
3) Pre Pottery Age in Near East
4) Southeast Region's Neolithic settlements and cult eras (Nevali Çori, Çayönü, Göbeklitepe)
5) Continue to Southeast Region's Neolithic settlements and cult eras (Hallan Çemi, Çayönü, Gusir Höyük, Göbeklitepe, Nevali Çori)
6) Central Anatolian's Neolithic Settlements (AşıklıHöyük, Çatal Höyük, Boncuklu, Pınarbaşı)
7) Hilly Flanks Setlements (Zawi Çemi, Shanidar, Ali Kosh, Ganj Dareh)
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Neolithic in Levant (Ain Mallaha, Mureybet, Jerf el Ahmar, Aswad, Jericho, Beidha)
