Course Contents

To set forth the dynamics and essential characteristics of the process of transition from empire to nation state. The evaluation of the foundation of Republic of Turkey in terms of political and socio-cultural aspects. To evaluate the position and efficiency of Ottoman-Turkish intellectuals within this process. To set forth the effects of the transition process and posterior progress on Turkish literature
