Fundamentals of Systematics
In the scope of studies on the population dynamics or stocks of economically valuable fish, the following activities are conducted: fishing, sampling, and preservation of fish; species identification and analysis in fish; studies on age and growth; recognition of reproduction, migration, food, and feeding habits, as well as egg, larval, and juvenile stages; calculation of egg yield; fish marking and tagging methods
