Course Contents

Review the theory of DC and AC machines. Introduction of laboratory equipments. Basic characteristics of separately excited DC generator. Basic characteristics of synchronous generator. Basic characteristics of squirrel cage induction motor. No load operation, short circuit operation and loaded operation of transformer. Basic characteristics of Separately excited dc motor. Basic characteristics of series excited dc motor. Losses and efficiency of DC and AC machines.
